Where can I find the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions for Coker’s Crossing?
- The CCRs can be found on the Coker’s Crossing website under FORMS tab or by requesting it from Cokerscrossinghoa@gmail.com.
What modifications to my home require prior approval?
- Addition of a fence or a shed require approval from the architectural change control committee. Sheds and solar panels also require a permit from the City of Goose Creek prior to installation.
What are annual dues?
- The current annual HOA dues are set at $180.00 to be paid by the end of February each year.
What are my dues used for?
- Dues are primarily used for upkeep of common areas. This includes mowing for common areas, landscaping & maintenance at the entrance, maintenance of the retention ponds, paying the property tax on the common areas, and electricity for the lights at the entrance & water circulation devices in retention ponds.
I lost my dues form and haven’t paid yet. What should I do?
- Mail yours dues check to Coker’s Crossing HOA PO Box 1283 Goose Creek, SC 29445. Be sure to include your address on the check.
How can I get involved?
- There is an annual meeting for all Coker’s Crossing homeowners each November. All homeowners are encouraged to attend. You may elect to nominate yourself or another homeowner for a one of three HOA Board of Directors positions that will be up for renewal at that time. Between annual meetings please reach out to the Board of Directors at cokerscrossinghoa@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.
Are there any parks or pavilions within the community?
- Unfortunately at this time there are no common facilities within Coker’s Crossing. The park originally built for Coker’s Crossing had to be shut down due to safety concerns. A list of nearby parks and activities can be found HERE.
The streetlight near my home is out; why hasn’t this been fixed?
- Streetlights are maintained by the Berkeley County DOT. You may report the outage yourself or contact the HOA to report it for you.
What city ordinances apply to my property?
- Grass cutting is mandated by City ordinance. It is also a City ordinance that no pets run at large and that all dogs must be leashed AND obedient to the owner's voice commands. Immediately cleaning up after a pet is also City ordinance. Violators face a fine of up to $1000 or 30 days in jail.
